Do you like the idea of eating and burning fats? I’m not talking about the need for you to starve and lose weight. The top fat burning foods are ideal and they have the capability to not only burn fats, but also to give your metabolism rates a hike!

I know it sounds somewhat unimaginable. But here’s the awesome news; fat burning foods do exist! However, we should not count on these foods to work on their own. If you want to lose weight the healthy way, you’ve got to continue maintaining a healthy diet, drink loads of water and work out regularly.

5 Top Fat Burning Foods To Lose A Lot Of Weight Fast:

Top Fat Burning Foods #1 – Fiber

Fibers are considered a pure slimming medication. This is simply because our digestive system can not break down dietary fibers completely. Which means they aren’t fully digested and so they are transferred through the gastrointestinal tract to be excreted, dragging water and other substances with them.

Top Fat Burning Foods #2 – Gum

As introduced in the Experimental Biology convention held in New Orleans, chewing sugar-free gum for about 15 minutes after every meal will help you manage hunger and reduce snacking between the three important meals each day. You will be better able to manage you daily calorie intake.

Top Fat Burning Foods #3 – Almond

A survey by the University of Toronto discovered that individuals who ate white bread with almonds had steadier blood sugar ranges than those who ate only bread. Do not forget that the faster your blood sugar increases, the faster it drops.

This results in greater starvation and overeating. Elevated blood sugar will also increase insulin secretion. This is a hormone in charge of storing fats within the abdomen.

Top Fat Burning Foods #4 – Apple

An apple a day is great to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. People who eat at least one apple right before meals tend to take in fewer calories. Their calorie intake level is well-managed. Thus, no extra calories will be left to turn into fats.

Click here to view the embedded video.

Apples have extra iron which refrains us from hunger. Apples are also rich in antioxidants that will help increase our metabolic rape, thus, we’ll lose weight much faster.

Top Fat Burning Foods #5 – Black Eyed Beans

If you haven’t noticed, people who eat black eyed beans often have slim and fit figures. No doubt, beans are one of the best natural fat burners available.

Whoever said that “Talk is cheap” didn’t factor in how imperative talking was to the development large industry. Don’t most business deals, whether mega or minor, begin with simple talking? Okay, in today’s digital age, maybe alot begin with e-mail, but isn’t e-mail a form of talking?

I have also heard many successful businessmen say “I don’t do small talk” but isn’t Smalltalk at the base of many significant events in human history? Wasn’t it small talk that began hundreds of years ago back in England about a new world that was awaiting development overseas? Wasn’t it small talk that began as a little buzz which grew to a huge overflow of support for President Obama’s historic victory?

Some people who attend business networking events or business functions in general, think that Smalltalk is unprofessional and they must focus completely on really important and elaborate “Business Speak”. They almost feel as though speaking about anything besides that would brand them as an individual who is amateurish and not serious about business.

Could anything be more further from the truth? When you’re dealing with business people, it’s smart to remember that you are dealing with “people”. This means that while they have on a suit and tie, what’s underneath is still a bonafide human being. And this “human being” is susceptible and open to Smalltalk.

Smalltalk like; what they engage in outside of the office, current events that have nothing to do with business, college stories that are really laughable, and so on. These little conversations can make a person feel comfortable and can be a warm-up to more important business talks.

Learning to communicate initially with Smalltalk is a skill but it’s one of the skills that require little work to develop. Just think about the last casual conversation you had about current events with a close friend. How much skill did that require?

Click here to view the embedded video.

If you can relate to people on a warm-personal level, you will have succeeded in securing stable new relationships. These relationships can lead to major things throughout your life. They can lead to new jobs or careers and even large-scale business partnerships. Whatever the results may be, remember that it all began from small talk.

So, the next time you feel as though you are wasting your breath on trivial topics, consider the fact that Smalltalk can lead to greater things. Smalltalk is a part of good business networking just as much as professional conduct.

In a previous article, “Building a Successful Coaching Business – Successful Coaches Don’t Sell Coaching-They Sell RESULTS” we talked about the buyer’s thought process and that you had to sell value in each of the steps of the buyer’s thought process. So, here is how you develop your value statement.

Your value statement should be about RESULTS not activity. So, a statement like “business up 200%” is much more powerful than “more sales, better marketing, more appointments.”

Your value statement should always be MEASURABLE. “revenue up 200%” is better than “more revenue.” And, “Revenue up $1M” most of the time is even better than “revenue up 200%.” If you are stating “revenue up 200%” then always help the prospect convert that to dollars and cents. He WILL respond more often and faster.

Bracket your value.

Average– Start with an “average” result either across all of your clients, or “average” the result in different segments (even better).

Minimum–Then be prepared to talk about the minimum result you’ve ever delivered. Find the words that work the best here. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve had clients that fell flat on their face, but there were few of them, and it wasn’t due to anything I did. In most cases, they just couldn’t bring themselves to change, so they kept making the same mistakes. My usual statement is: “for those that get it, and DO follow through with what they learn, most will more than double their business.” So, find your minimum, and how you feel comfortable stating it.

Maximum-Now find the best results you’ve ever delivered. For my sales training, I usually say something like “my typical client doubles his business in 3-4 weeks, and I’ve even seen a couple jump up 10 times within a week. And most of my clients just keep multiplying their results over and over.

Click here to view the embedded video.

By bracketing your value, you have given a very clear value statement to your prospect. He can understand that working with you what the dollars and cents, or multiplier is for a typical prospect, and what the minimum and maximum is.

This approach will cause people to LEAP into your shopping card. Almost no one dares give a clear value statement, so you are WAY above your competition, and you have just removed any reason for that typical objection: “Gee this seems awfully expensive” or “I don’t have the money.”

A ministry in Christianity is simply an activity carried out by any Christian or group of Christians to express their faith. Quite often this takes the form of helping those in need, especially in developing countries. This ministry action is taken on by organized groups of Christians who want a better world for children in need and to foster good Christian citizenship and values. Some groups – formally known as ministries – network and forge links worldwide in order to share information and resources. Because of increasing concerns over the welfare of children in countries that suffer poverty, famine and disease, many children’s ministries are now equipped to help children in need. Each children’s ministry reveals the nature of God in its work; and they can work through a range of educational, health and charitable programs to help children in need become independent Christian adults.

Each Christian children’s ministry often works in a variety of ways. Some choose to give assistance to children in need from a prenatal level, by providing support and assistance to mothers-to-be. Educational programs on parenting, spiritual and emotional guidance and support, backed up with advice on nutrition and hygiene, are part of an approach that has a strong emphasis on prevention.

Because a Christian children’s ministry takes into account local culture and environment, the teaching and development programs for children in need can make God’s message more relevant and more useful – practically and spiritually. An effective children’s ministry will offer a church-led upbringing alongside parenting at home, Christ-centered childcare and guidance, and various types of support for children in need.

Click here to view the embedded video.

What makes a children’s ministry so effective at fighting poverty and inequality in developing nations is an age-specific approach. This makes the religious aspect of the children’s development more relevant and focused on the issues they are likely to face as they grow and learn more about the world around them. Using the gospel as a directional tool, stories and teachings can be delivered in a format that engages with the local culture. In this way the children’s ministry can deliver God’s message to children in need alongside real and beneficial support.

By working in partnership with local churches across the world, a children’s ministry can create child development models to increase infant survival rates. Each ministry can organize and promote child sponsorship programs to ensure a locally relevant education and well-being strategy, and nurture lifelong skills and values that will help the children in need become responsible Christian adults. By combining social, economic, spiritual and physical support, children are given a real chance to discover the true meaning of Christianity. This can also help them to make sense of God’s creation.

Christians in the U.S. have expressed their hopes and prayers that these children in need in developing countries will get a real chance to live their lives according to the gospel, and grow and learn in order to fulfill their ambitions. Thanks to the work of each children’s ministry, Christians are also able to give directly for children in need for their spiritual and physical nourishment.

There are so many children in need throughout the world. It can be difficult to understand why most families in the West have so much food and material things, while families and children in poor countries struggle to survive. Sadly, the fact is that around a billion children are in need and live in desperate poverty. Children in need do not have enough food, shelter, clean water or medical care. These are global issues that need global solutions. But, thankfully there are ways in which each of us can reach out to help children. The best way to reach out is by supporting a child charity that concentrates on bringing both practical and spiritual help to the most needy children.

Through supporting a child charity we can be sure that our help is of real benefit to children in need. A small gesture, that costs just dollars a month, can transform the life of one particular child in need. And we know it because we can communicate with “our” child, exchanging letters and photographs and learning how our support is spent. This simple but life-changing way of giving involves sponsorship of an individual child in need – a boy or a girl.

A small, fixed sum of money is sent every month through the child charity, and ensures that children in need who are living in poverty:

•	Are properly fed.
•	Have clean drinking water.
•	Receive health care including immunizations and medicines.
•	Have secure shelter.
•	Receive a good education leading to training opportunities.

It’s a lot for such a small amount. Yet child charity programs really do work, helping to ensure that children in need are lifted from the spiral of poverty, misery and deprivation and given hope. The secret to the success of supporting by sponsorship is the work done by the world’s best child charities. Over years of dedication and teamwork, each charity has established highly effective sponsorship and programs for supporting children in need in countries such as India, Peru, Uganda, Bangladesh, Colombia, Ethiopia and many other countries in the developing world. By reaching out and supporting children through a respected child charity, you can be sure that your dollars go to the children who need your help the most. But before you donate, learn about the child charity you have chosen and make sure it is reputable. Find out exactly how your money will be spent, and check out the charity’s results and accountability.

Christian charities offer something beyond material aid. They also promise to reach out to deprived children with spiritual nourishment, so that they learn about Jesus and His work, about the power of prayer, and about God’s love for each of them. As one child charity explained it, sponsored children are in need and vulnerable. They not only need physical care, but prayers for their health, safety, education and spiritual development.

A Christian child charity usually works in partnership with local churches in the developing countries. As well as the direct sponsorship for supporting individual children, charities might also be involved in other local projects such as improving clean water supplies and training teachers and health workers.

One of the most rewarding aspects for a sponsor is being in direct communication with the child they have chosen to reach out and support. Sponsors and children exchange letters, drawings and photographs and prayers. In addition, the sponsor receives regular reports about the child’s progress. It is a very personal way of giving, and the sponsor becomes a real and loved part of the family in time.

A child who is sponsored feels very blessed. Not only will he or she grow up healthy and educated, but also with the knowledge that someone thousands of miles away has reached out to care for the child’s welfare. Reaching out to children in need by supporting through sponsorship really is God’s work in action.

Are you in a quandary about what to give your son for his seventh birthday? Why not try giving him one of those RC toys that you saw on display at a store downtown? They continue to ride their skyrocketing popularity ever since they were commercially introduced a few decades ago. An RC toy will definitely give fun and excitement to your seven year old son as he performs some role playing with it.

There are a lot of RC toys to choose from. There are cars, motorcycles, ambulances, buses, police cars, fire trucks, cranes, regular trucks, monster trucks, off-road vehicles, airplanes, helicopters, boats, and loads of other types of such toys. You just have to gauge where the interest of your son is leaning towards because you might be giving him an toy that he may not want at all. Yes, he might play with it for a couple of minutes, or maybe hours, after which, he will just ignore it. If it will be an toy that really interests him, you may even find it beside him even when he sleeps.

Some RC toys that may interest your seven-year old kid are those which have other radio controlled moving parts, other than its wheels that would only go back and forth. One of these is the toy tracked crane which, not only moves back and forth, but also swings its upper body in a separate direction, make its boom move up or down, shorten or lengthen its boom cable which allows for the hook at the end to be lifted or lowered, and retract or extend the length of its boom, all these done via the same radio control transmitter that you use to make it move back and forth. Some models even have a scooping bucket at the end instead of the regular hook with the opening and shutting of which is also remotely controlled.

This is surely one RC toy that will make the eyes of your seven year old child open wide with delight. Another one of these toys that your child would definitely love are fire trucks that have rescue ladders that can be radio controlled to retract or extend at your desired length. Some have even included remote controls which would rotate the ladder and position it at a place you desire. Surely your seven-year old would love to assume the role of a fireman when he plays with this type of RC toy.

One of the things that surely delight a kid is an RC toy. In fact, even adults play with certain toys to amuse them. Once you have determined where the interest of your seven-year old son is leaning towards and you get the RC toy equivalent of a vehicle that is the subject of that interest, you would definitely see his eyes open wide and hear him squeal in delight.

The experience of being a highly visible person such as television/movie stars, professional athletes, and high ranking officials, has been researched and investigated for many years. I will refer to all of those within these categories as Celebrities. Despite the research, little has been written about what the psychological impact actually means for the Celebrity. While it is true that in relation to the Celebrity themselves, being famous often leads to a total loss of privacy, a strong sense of entitlement, often unreasonable or demanding expectations, gratification of their ego, and a sense of immortality. Reasons for which, most people are unable to comprehend.

For most Celebrities, being famous leads to wealth, unbridled access to people, place and things, tremendous temptations, as well as fear and concern about the effect on their families. As to the psychological impact, my years of experience in working closely with Celebrities has divulged feelings of isolation, mistrust and paranoia, a tremendous fear of losing their fame, and often a skewed or confused sense of self. This skewed or confused sense of self is often created and magnified by the perceptions of the public and the media. The impact of such perceptions permeates the Celebrity’s psyche both in their public and their private lives. And so their identity begins to take on a new dimension and their personality begins to “shift.”

David Giles in Illusions of Immortality: A Psychology of Fame and Celebrity, (2000), writes about his research taken from interviews and surveys, to answer questions about the rise of stardom, the motivation to become famous, and the psychological impact of sudden popularity. Giles sees the Celebrity as arising out of the tradition in Western culture of placing importance on the “individual self.” He argues that fame should be seen as a process, rather than a state of being, because of the variety of changes a celebrity goes through when becoming a star. I would add that the public reinforces what I call a “personality shift” because it is the public’s consistent acknowledgement of the Celebrity as well as the public’s celebration of the Celebrity that drives the transformation. Couple this with a weaker ego, and the perfect storm is created for a life of grandiose behavior and heightened paranoia.

While most of the public can fantasize about what appears to be a perfect and charmed life, and quite often it is, there is a dark and lonely side that few in the general public can truly understand. At least until some tragedy occurs, such as the deaths of Brittany Murphy, Chris Farley, and Michael Jackson, which expose the inner struggles they faced during stardom. Compassion is rarely a word or feeling a Celebrity encounters by others. Too often, the charmed life perception leaves little room for empathy or sympathy. Walking a mile in one’s shoes might very well be the moral of this article for anyone who feels dismayed by a Celebrity’s complaint about their life or the tragedy they encounter. For better or worse, there is a clear and distinct psychological shift from being overly exposed to the media spotlight.

Inspirational quotes hold the keys to success hidden in them. When we look for them and use them to open our awareness, success is ours.

Here are a few inspiring quotes and the principles I have learned and applied successfully.

“Thought is the original source of all wealth, all success, all material gain, all great discoveries and inventions, and of all achievement”

Dream Big is an important principle learned from this quote by Claude M. Bristol. Our thoughts are which control our actions. It is our thoughts that give us confidence to work towards big dreams. It is our thoughts that push us to strive for more and to prove ourselves.

“You will find the key to success under the alarm clock.”

Benjamin Franklin’s quote clearly shows us one of the main keys to success. Being an early riser helps you stay ahead in the game of life too! When you wake up early you find time to be more productive. The early hours helps you start the day well and also helps you energize your body, mind and soul.

“Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.”

Napolean Hill shows us the way to success is through Patience, persistence and perspiration. We have to plan our work with patience, persist against all odds and spend productive hours to make success ours. The 3p’s – Patience, persistence and perspiration do indeed make an unbeatable combination for success

“Each new day is a blank page in the diary of your life. The secret of success is in turning that diary into the best story you possibly can.”

Begin everyday anew is the message Douglas Pagels gives us in this quote. Everyday is a new day and how we spent it makes our future. Let us learn to fill it with activities that will secure a prosperous future. It is our present that will influence our future. Everyday we get a chance to reflect on ourselves and create a new beginning to erase our past mistakes.

There are times in our life, either at work or at home, personal or professional, when we just start to lose inspiration. The grind of it all, the constant challenge, can wear even the best of us down. It is hard to work at being successful, especially when we fail.

It is times like these when we especially need inspiration. Here are a few quotes and words of wisdom to help inspire you to overcome your challenges and meet the goals and dreams you have.

This first quote comes from Thomas Jefferson.

“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.”

Motivation and inspiration truly are mental. It’s all about getting into the right mental attitude to reach your goal. Of course this is easier said than done, but by simply acknowledging it and understanding it we can take a big step towards overcoming mental blocks.

“Impatience never commanded success” ~ Edwin H. Chapin

It might be easy to just give up, and we are certain to get frustrated and annoyed along our way. But to stay the course and to have patience is the true virtue and will result in success.

From Dennis Waitley comes this inspiring quote regarding success and failure. “Failures do what is tension relieving, while winners do what is goal achieving.” The easy way is to quit and give up.

“Success is sweet: the sweeter if long delayed and attained through manifold struggles and defeats.” ~ A. Branson Alcott. This quote inspires me, as the harder I work and fail, the more prone I am to give up. But I try to keep in mind that my reward, the ultimate success of my trials, will be that much more sweeter from all the toil and struggle I put into obtaining it. I hope this one helps you through a difficult time.

Thomas Edison is well known for his many inventions, from the light bulb to electric power plants. But did you know that Thomas Edison failed many many times on his way to achieving such well known results? One such famous Thomas Edison quote is, “Results? Why, man, I have gotten lots of results! If I find 10,000 ways something won’t work, I haven’t failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is often a step forward….” Edison speaks to us and tells us that if we believe in what we are trying to accomplish, we are much more likely to stay the course and achieve results. When you are at your lowest, just remember that even a great man like Thomas Edison felt the same way as you. He failed countless times, but he got back up and tried again and again until he reached success.

We often think of these great men for what they accomplished, but keep in mind that the only reason we know them as great men is because they stuck to it and accomplished what they sought out to do. The road was tough, and they faced many mental and real challenges. Let their words of wisdom inspire you to stick with it and achieve your own success.

Have you ever wanted to go back to the simple life and live more rural? Unless you are prepared for the challenges and develop a quick-witted ingenuity to capitalize on there sources around you, think twice before you chuck the urban lifestyle. There are many unexpected things that have a tendency to pop up suddenly when living the country-style life year round. The other seasons have their own demands but winter will usually trump them all. Are you ready?

The first big question to ask yourself is are you ready for the unpredictable trials that will arise out of nowhere to sabotage your efforts? Are you prepared to give up reliable town or city plumbing to learn how to make use of a well, on a piece of land, where the pipes to your home that might freeze during a cold spell? Or a sewer that looks like a pond somewhere ‘out there’ that you will need to pump out yourself once a year, using a contraption that goes by the dubious name ‘honey wagon’. What do you do when you lose the water prime on your pump anyway? Realizing of course that you’re indoor plumping, the toilet plus all your running water and laundry is directly connected and reliant on this reservoir, how do you flush when the water is frozen? Have you insulated the pumphouse and put a little heater that runs on a timer on a piece of land for the really cold nights, to keep it warm in there?

I can answer these questions and more, having had the sheer joy of first hand experience! In a previous article on winterizing a trailer, I gave some advice based on my ever-growing intimacy with this way of living. Now I have more to offer the brave souls who are considering abandoning the urban jungle for the tranquil rural outdoors. First thing to know, don’t expect tranquil! It’s anything but tranquil! Though I can only give advice on trailer living, which is, for obvious reasons, quite different than moving into a house; I can give some ‘what to do’ situations for those who have a mobile on a piece of land, whether it be in the middle of no-mans land out of town or just on the edge of town. Here goes and I will start at the beginning of this list to make it easier to follow.

Whether you have a newer double or singlewide or a very used one there is a list of items to check which have to do with staying warm and cool. So, you are standing in front of the trailer you have purchased, here is where you start especially if its used. Begin by making a cursorily examination of the exterior walls for damaged areas, go up top and check to see what kind of roof you actually have and any areas are in need of repair. Also check to see that there are no soft spots and make sure you have all the proper pipes coming out for venting, there should be four of them. You need one that is quite high and reinforced for a wood stove because of the amount of heat that is lost through the stack, one for the furnace (be it propane or gas), one for the hot water heater and the last one rotates for air circulation in the attic. Ascertain what depth of insulation you have and what R-value it provides in terms of heat retention: the higher the rating, the warmer you will be inside. Check the siding to make sure it is firmly nailed onto the walls and there are no holes where the wind or insects can penetrate, as they will make a home there. Do you have all the wires you need for electrical hook ups and don’t be afraid to do some crawling under the trailer to see where the pipes are for sewer and water. You will have to build a skirting all around the circumference to keep the pipes from freezing and this is a good time to put heat tape on the pipes before closing it up. All that is left after that is to pile dirt against the skirting to keep small animals out.

When you enter the abode that will become you new home here is what to look for; starting with the floor, check for damage but more importantly slowly walk along the wall and ‘feel’ the floor for any slopping especially if its towards the wall. Try the front and back doors to make sure they open all the way without getting caught on the floor. If there is a slope that makes furniture ‘lean’ against the walls of the trailer, you will need to add support under the trailer for the walls. To do this, use the lift you use for your vehicle and raise the sides of the trailer and put supports under these areas. Most of the time you only need to lift it a couple of inches. Keeping in mind that the walls are only three inches thick, inspect them for any water damage from the windows and roof then examine the ceiling as well. If dark brown sections are in evidence, get on a chair, take a hammer and whack the ceiling down! Remove the plastic vapor barrier and the insulation and toss it; after we did this I vacuumed the remaining bits of insulation off the ceiling boards. When the ceiling dried out completely, it was fine. Doing this also removes any insect nests that are currently residing in the ceiling and/or walls so in spring and summer, they won’t be crawling out like they did in mine. Not to bore you but that was a most unpleasant experience that involved large quantities of tape, plastic and bug spray! Trust me, you do not want to go there.

Choose a wood stove that is EPA approved and follow the instructions for installing it after you have built a platform for it to sit on with a wood frame, concrete and top it with good quality ceramic tiles; use the correct pipes for all the connections as well. Once installed and fired for the first time, open all the windows because it will smell! This is normal as you are burning off the chemical coating and preparing it for regular use. I rather quickly found that cleaning the firebox out on a regular basis reduced the inevitable build-up and gave much more heat from the wood burnt. It seems that too much ash reduces the amount of heat while creating even more ash. Then I use a small brush to clean the inside of the stove and vacuumed the surrounding platform, along with every other surface that is close to the stove; the ash gets everywhere! Of course cleaning and maintaining the stove is dependent on how cold it is outside and how much wood you have to burn. I also use the top of the stove to heat water for dishes to reduce the amount of propane usage and when need arises, to melt snow when we have no running water due to inevitable freezing despite the heat tape.

These are only a few of the wonders to behold as you prepare for life on the outskirts of civilization but it’s comforting to know that the town is only twelve miles distant. It does get better with every new experience you triumph over; we have had our fixer-upper mobile home for a year now and have worked out quite a few bugs (literally speaking) having come through the four seasons and all they had to throw at us. I think this is valuable information to share with my readers.
