Most people have been to the point where there bills are sky high, and realize that they need a debt management plan. The envelopes are stacks and stacks high.. It feels as if every single penny earned in your paycheck is spoken and gone for well before you put it in your bank account. Even though the idea of living free of debt sounds great, you may not know how to get there. You might not even believe that it is possible for you. However, the good news is that living free of debt is without a doubt absolutely possible for anyone, it’ is all about making a decision and having dedication and patience and you can do that with a Debt management plan.
I know it is cliche to say but the key to living debt free lies in being financially disciplined. If you have lots of debt it simply means that you spend way too much money. It is a simple as that really. Don’t be like many people blame it on a lot of things. I realize that there are often situations, such as illnesses that arise, that are completely out of your control. However, many people are deeply in debt because they are spending money that really is not theirs. They spend too much money on things they don’t need.
In the matter of a few years, most of the stuff that people bought will already be in the trash, but the bad debt will still be there. And it will be growing faster than ever because of interest. Now lets get to the good news. Yes, there is a very simple solution for getting out of debt. Living your life free of debt means following a couple of very simple principles for as long as it takes to pay off your debts and get on the correct financial path.
The Primary thing to do is to put your credit cards in the blender. Cut them up, burn them, and then proceed by throwing them in the trash disposal. Basically, do whatever else it takes to make sure that you never use them again. The REAL way to get out of debt is to start by not ever getting in any more bad debt.
The next step is to begin creating a budget. Yes, that’s right I used the ‘B’ word. In order to pay off your bad debt and live free of debt you need to free up some extra money from your paycheck to pay off extra debts you currently have. The true two ways to do this are to either decrease your expenses so that there is extra money surplus available to pay off debts and by also increasing your monthly income. If you work on doing both it will work best of course. It all really comes to how badly you want to become debt free.
Once you have ceased from spending, and start paying off your bad debts with your debt management plan, the only thing left is to practice patience and discipline. Decide this day that you are going to live free of debt or you will never make it. It might take a few years depending on your unique situation, However, once you reach your goal the stack of bills will be much smaller, And every single month you will have much more financial surplus to live the life you truly desire.
Now go out there and make it happen!!
